Three

Look Ma! It's a craft blawwwg!

Pearls birthday is coming up, one year old ACK! I still hadn't finished the raggedy edge quilt that I had started for her, so I figured I'd just finish that puppy up and call it a birthday gift. Slacker, I know. Y'all got to see it's resurrection, and here is the finished product. Flannel 55"x41".

I got so excited I went to the store, and got some fabric for another one (the cutest one I've done so far!). It's 30"x34" flannel. That's a chenille fabric on the border there, and I was so tickled with the effect...

...I thought I'd experiment with this fun "furry fleece" that I found. Here is the next one in raw form. The green grassy stuff is soft and those are individual fibers that kind of float and move like something Dr. Seussish... I find it quite hilarious.

and the next. It's as close as I'm gonna be getting to "fine art" right now. Mmmmmm, juicy textiles! That black stuff is softer than rabbit's fur.

I made a raggedy edged blanket for my grand daughter, she LOVES it. My daughter swears it has gramma magic in it, because everytime she wraps the Pea in it, she snuggles. Good luck on the Blogging month!

WHAT?? You are one of the few people I think of who understands when I tell them I can't keep my house clean or get my laundry done, (since you have little ones the same ages)--and your QUILTING! Sheesh. You just must be good at acting sympathetic towards me, and there you go quilting....I just can't believe it! :)

THEY ARE SO ADORABLE!

Very nice! My sister in law does quilting, she has made quilts for everyone, except me. So I have to sit here with my laptop (and weiner doggy!) to keep me warm.

That's it - I am coming to live with you - you can teach me how to make cakes, make costumes, blankets etc.

The blankets are beautiful.

I have a quilt my grandma made me when I was a kid, I still use it all the time. She made it out of scraps from dresses she had made me when I was young.

I want to learn how to quilt...but my "I want" list is long, so someday!

don't you love it when your kids get old enough to give you 5 minutes to do something? Anything?!

I love that chenille too - what a great idea! Your talents never cease to amaze me. What will you do next?!
