Hold This Please

The debacle of potty training LaLa continues. Like her older sister, she "gets" the poo portion of potty training... the peeing business has her stymied. Perhaps "stymied" is the wrong word, it implies some sort of effort on her part.

For the last month or so, every time she sits on the toilet I have to "hold" her tail so that it does not fall into the toilet water. She is a pony, you see. Sometimes her name is Hona-lu-lu, sometimes she is Flowertop. One way or another, I know I am her mother... who the heck else would hold her imaginary tail and wipe her not-so-imaginary bum?

That is adorable. Of course she has a tail! Why wouldn't she?

as long as her tail doesn't get wet, I'm guessing life is good. I have to hold tink so that it doesn't flush her down...darn automatic toilets scare her to death.

Oh potty training uurghhh. Not my favorite right now. The pee thing is a mystery at our house too.

That's a pretty talented pony, being able to sit on the potty and all!

We are nowhere near the potty training, although as of 2 weeks ago, Eliza has started demanding "change-a diapuh!" whenever she has a poo. Pee, I think, is a mystery still.

I know nothing of training girls. What I do know is that when you float a rubber ducky in the toilet (tied to a string so ducky doesn't get flushed), there is great fun to be had when you pee and squirt ducky in the eye.
