Spring

In the spirit of my old Sunday pic.... but with a sense of urgency.
A desire to make up for lost time.
Things are really popping around these parts! The bleeding heart, sweet vetch and iris are all poised to make an appearance.
A new experience, my first tulips ever. An old standby in the background: the flox.

Saw you on FTF and decided to stop by. Your flowers and daughters are gorgeous! Congrats on your weight-loss and your pregnancy. What an exciting time for you!

Oh my, those gorgeous girls of yours! So nice to see their sweet faces again. Your flowers are lovely — I really like tulips, although I wasn't quick enpugh on the draw to re-pepper them after it rained this weekend and some got nibbled by the skunk/raccoon/possum that likes to eat tulips and lillies. (Cayenne pepper=repellent for flower-nibblers, except it washes away after the rain)

Did you catch that ma? Cayenne powder equal rabbit repellant! Nice!

Your girls! They are so lovely and grown. Wow! And would you please just come to Canada already and help me with my yard?

The hot pepper powder works. You need to apply it every few days at first but the bunnies eventially learn to stay away. Except for the ones that like salsa :)

Beutiful pics!!

Didja know that if you get enough snow and pile it up on Flox it will die? It will, I've seen it do it. Or maybe spring is just being really slow around these parts. Heck, I saw snow on the ground a week ago today.
