Gestating

I had thought that being in pretty good shape and losing some weight would really count for something pregnancy-wise this time around, maybe help with the fatigue, maybe help me feel a little less like crap.

La tee da! Not so.

In fact, I have never felt so heinous in my life. Is by far and away my sickest and tiredest pregnancy to date, and I keep waiting for a change in the weather.

La tee da! Twelve weeks. Still sick. Still tired.

Before this pregnancy, I had kept some idea that there could be the outside-iest, outside chance of just one more after this. The answer is No. Nope. Nada. No way in H-E double toothpicks. This body cannot, not and keep up with the continuing demands of the previously born offspring.

When this is done, it is done.

I will go crawl back in bed now, or wish I was as I prepare for the tea-party gala being held here in two hours. Shoot me in the head.

I'm so sorry you're feeling sick. Guess I won't tell you about my lack of morning sickness with my pregnancy way back in the olden days. You'd be the one shooting me in the head.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

I have definitely felt a major difference this time around. I feel OLD. and tired, all the time, no matter how much sleep I get. I hope this ends soon. I have been grumpy this time around and I'm usually not. NO fun for anyone. Good luck, call me if you need to drop off girls and let them run wild in my back yard.

I hope you feel better soon - just keep thinking of how wonderful this babe is going to be... *ducking out of the room so you can hurl a pillow at me*

Yeah. I really get this. Girl, I think you are amazing to have suffer this many times. I am done. Now. At almost two. Finished. No question about it. I threw up at my mom's yesterday during lunch. I only managed to make it to the kitchen sink too. And then I had to borrow some clothes from my mom, cause, you know, getting sick is too challenging for my bladder. All I can say is, thank goodness I was at my mom's. Sigh.

I hope you feel better soon because I know what you are going through.

You know why don't ya??? Insert Singsongy voice here: You're having a booooy, you're having a booooyyyyy!
Really, for some women, the level of morning sickness changes with the sex of the fetus, cross my heart! So I am putting my money on the xy.

woman, you are GROWING A PERSON (a fact I'll remind you of many times). No matter how many times you do it, it'll still feel like the first time.

I think that your fitness is making a difference - but right now, during the el-sucko first trimester, it won't feel like it. give it time!!

Your being in shape will make a big difference, absolutely. In the third trimester. I honestly don't think anything makes the first 12-14 weeks easier, except perhaps being in a medically induced coma.
